The Jerry Pond snow shoe trail is up and running. It's hard to spot the beginning if the trail because with the snow sublimation we've seen over the last week, the level of the trail is currently level with the top of the snow itself. Snow conditions are dry, crunchy, hard and packed. There are lots of bare spots but there is also enough snow that the bare spots can be easily avoided.

While there have been no updates reported today, it is safe to assume that the conditions at Jerry Pond are reflective of conditions elsewhere. We have had no new snow and with near freezing temperatures and the sunny conditions, we are losing our snow pack gradually. The area ski trails will likely also be showing some bare patches. This will probably be the state of the trails until the weather changes.
